Arkansas Department of Health to Host Free Maternal & Women’s Health Expo in Springdale

Claim Your Care event connects Northwest Arkansas families with local health resources.

What: The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will host a free maternal and women’s health event to connect expectant and new mothers, families, and support networks with resources for health before, during, and after pregnancy.  

Why: Through its Claim Your Care campaign, the ADH is helping women connect with care and support. This free event brings those resources directly to Northwest Arkansas families, making it easier to ask questions, meet local providers, and learn about available services. 

When: Saturday, October 10, 2026  
Event: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
Media availability: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Where: The Jones Center  
922 E. Emma Ave.
Springdale, AR 72764

Who: ADH programs, Arkansas Health Unit representatives, health professionals, community organizations, and local service providers.

Details: Attendees can learn about maternal and postpartum health, WIC, breastfeeding support, family planning, and immunizations. Resources will reflect the needs of Northwest Arkansas families, including Marshallese and Hispanic communities. Walmart has donated 100 size 1 diapers and 100 packages of baby wipes to be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The event is free; registration is not required.
